@EO_Halloran Here's an idea
Use the bike lanes, you insufferable twat

@The_RUFC How does this not have “we’ve got super *manager’s name,* he knows exactly what we need”
English

It is with great regret that I’ve had to add another chant to this list

It’s back! 😍 #RUFC

@RayMairead Absolutely nothing wrong with what they’re doing and has zero impact on ability to overtake and therefore on journey time (not that being stuck behind a cyclist really ever lengthens anyone’s journey time).
English

@JFootball004 Compared to most years the “at risk of going” players this season are as loseable as they’ve been, one of the only positives I’m feeling.
English

Good way to finish a poor season. Sad to see Hamer go but at the same time I think it’ll allow us to build a proper team which isn’t reliant on one player again.
Nice to see Cannon and Peck score as well.
Onto the rebuild⚔️

We finish the season with a win! 🎉

@OldSheffield @BBCr4today Looking at the timing of the tweet I think this would’ve been around when they had my old student journalism ‘colleague’ on, who went on to The Sun and now it’s middle class equivalent The Spectator. Despise how they platform these folk as if they’re credible neutral observers.
English

Got up turned on @BBCr4today programme, turned it off after 5 mins. I love BBC Radio, some fantastic music shows and of course local sport.
However, if I wanted biased news coverage I'd read the Daily Mail. The BBC don't even pretend to be objective, just spit out bile every day
English

@nickgoff79 Incredibly frustrating how you often play your best against people much better than you, then are unable to replicate it against peers / worse players.
English

@PlazBlades23 Sure I’ve missed some, but that’d be my squad next year plus a couple spare parts. Realistically more of the reserve 11 being existing. Assuming Hamer and Peck go.

English

@lukerobertblack I mean, you could be on best part of 60 grand, so feels pretty doable within a few years, especially when your wage goes up when you roll off into a normal role after 18-24 months.
English

POV: You are 22. You’ve graduated from Exeter Uni and have a grad job at NatWest in Liv Street. Your parents live in Torquay. You rent a room in a flat share with 5 randoms.
If you scrap your premium Netflix, you will save £18.99 a month. Good luck saving for a deposit.

@lukerobertblack @tigerax Stop buying expensive things, going on holiday and luxury goods for a year or two.
English

@ILPadrino1994 Doubly so with cricket (and likely other sports) grounds in that they’re getting benefit of a nice green space. You can bet they’d be raging if someone wanted to build new housing on the ground.
English

This and people who buy houses next to football/cricket/sports grounds then complain about the noise, lights or balls landing in their gardens.
You knew it was there when you bought it, you can't complain when stuff happens!
Flight Emergency@FlightEmergency
I’m sorry but if this lady has lived at her address since 1931 (when the airport opened) then DO NOT BUY A HOUSE NEAR AN AIRPORT!! Boils my blood this stuff @AirNavRadar
English

@JTSHEEPS35 Previous ownership’s fault entirely. Nowt wrong with these keeping it going as a venue & fairly sure they only need to rebrand due to previous lot owning the name.
Hope people inform themselves and support it.
English

Let’s be right if you grew up in Sheffield you’d end up in Leadmill at some point, You can’t take a culturally significant place like that and rebrand it’s just wrong.
Hope this new club goes tits up, and people should know better than to go theya 👍🏻

The Leadmill closed last year - but the building reopens tonight as Electric Studios for the very first time! Read more: bbc.in/4rnxp7n

@TrapitJon @SportGids1 @footballheaven Ah yeah, I’ve no view on whether he actually does have / will do that or not, I just don’t necessarily think his bids would be reflective of what he (or anyone) would spend post bidding.
English

@BoremanMatt @SportGids1 @footballheaven You make it sound so easy. I’m well aware that it has nothing to do with the bid price but you have to own the club first. It would mean he would have to sell us for north of £150m in a couple of years just to break even. He sold Newcastle for £300m
English

Understand reports suggesting Mike Ashley has been outbid in his attempts to buy Sheffield Wednesday are correct.
Sources say it was the lowest bid by a ‘considerable margin.’
#swfc | @footballheaven
English

@TrapitJon @SportGids1 @footballheaven The £100m would be investment he could make a return on as it improves the club, that doesn’t apply to the bid price.
English

@SportGids1 @footballheaven But we’re expected to believe that he’s prepared to spend £100m straight out of the blocks?
English

@PAllThePeople @FPLMikel @lufcjt_ I’ve attended hundreds of games pre- and post-VAR, and have even bounced between attending leagues with and without it, and I’m very comfortable in my view that we’re better off without it.
Bigger sides getting favourable calls remains as central an issue as it ever was.
