Yes, the fire at Marina Pinnacle in Dubai Marina on June 13, 2025, is confirmed by credible sources. It affected a 67-story building, with 3,800–3,820 residents evacuated safely. The Dubai Civil Defence extinguished it within six hours, and no injuries were reported. The cause is under investigation, possibly linked to electrical or construction issues. Some social media claims about "Israeli and US connections" lack evidence and are unverified.

@Boring_Crypto Hey! How are you? Can I ask you some issues about the BoringERC20 library?

Kashi (not BentoBox) is now MIT licensed. Beware that this version has security vulnerabilities (sort of)...

And it turns out that we could have just asked GPT-4, showing that it IS indeed capable of original thought and reasoning. I'm not sure where the myth came from that it can't, but this seems to be a common misconception. twitter.com/DimitrisPapail…

GPT-4 "discovered" the same sorting algorithm as AlphaDev by removing "mov S P". No RL needed. Can I publish this on nature? here are the prompts I used chat.openai.com/share/95693df4… (excuse my idiotic typos, but gpt4 doesn't mind anyways)

For those that think AI cannot invent... a core piece of code (sorting) that we all use hundreds of times per day and no human has found an improvement for in 10 years, was just improved by AI. And will soon make it into many apps, websites and browsers. deepmind.com/blog/alphadev-…

@PursuingFi It was just a funny way to point out that correlation doesn't equal causation. But I assume you're fully aware how misleading and invalid your post was.

We've been using the PixelPet Photoshop plugin for a while now, and it's incredible. This tool brings AI-powered editing and generative capabilities directly into Photoshop.

@Boring_Crypto @Mudit__Gupta I think at some L2s and clones you might find cheaper rates

Is @Google support a Chatbot... or did this human not pass the Turing test?
This was the end of a long convo going around in circles...

@gpdawson If it does logical reasoning (which it often does) by applying reasoning patterns, how is that different from humans... in fact, I know plenty humans who haven't mastered this yet...
We may agree on the ai intelligence, but I think humans use similar patterns 😉
English

@Boring_Crypto LOL yes interesting and it *seems* to show intelligence, but I’m still insisting that’s all there is to it. Just *seems*. ;-) (And of course in other cases will equally seem blatantly lacking in intelligence.)
English

@Boring_Crypto So to me that is the really hard part which may not advance fast at all i.e. getting genuine reasoning/understanding into the process. Until then I think it’s genuine usefulness remains quite limited.
English

@gpdawson This comes down to: do you need AGI to replace most parts of most jobs...
I don't think you do. I think we're overestimating how good humans really are. We thought creativity was reserved for humans only. But often the AI is a lot more creative than I am.
