"I'll start investing when I make more money" is the financial equivalent of "I'll go to the gym when I'm in better shape."

the reason you can't save money isn't discipline. it's environment. your phone has 47 apps designed by teams of psychologists to make you spend money. you're fighting a billion-dollar war with willpower alone. delete the shopping apps. remove saved credit cards from browsers. unsubscribe from every brand email. turn off push notifications from anything that sells stuff. now you're not using discipline. you're using design. rich people don't have more willpower. they have fewer temptations. on purpose.
