To clarify the work on the Belmont Road bridge on Weds evening. Large areas of obstructing vegetation were cleared up at footpath level. The pavements on each side of the road were also cleaned. Traffic management was required to ensure the safety of those both above and below.

Speaking up at full Council today. I'm pleased that Belmont Road was cleared of weeds last week, but now is the time to check the safety of the corroded and disintegrating railings, which are there to protect pedestrians.
