Purposeful leadership isn’t about doing what people will like. It’s rather about doing what’s necessary (without minding the short term negative consequences)…Nigeria is moving forward slowly but surely @officialABAT well done sir👏👏👏

Band A currently enjoy minimum of 15-20hrs..They take priority over all other bands, even though they don’t have 24hrs yet, it validates my point that when the right price is paid for goods, it accelerates production cos everyone will want to produce so they can maximize returns..The reason the sector is underserved now is cos of government regulation…
Take the oil sector and exchange rate as an instance
It looked like a curse that will never be cured until deregulation happened
English

@Born2rule015 Can the band A customers get what they were promised first to inspire all other bands? That was what they set out to do according to them. Now, like all other times, na voicemail.
English

We won’t have stable electricity till we start paying cost reflective tariffs..Grid Electricity is very expensive anywhere in the world, this is why people switch to alternative energy even in the countries that have 24hrs supply..Investors do not go into a sector where they can’t charge market price for their goods.
I believe once we fully deregulate the sector, we will have stable supply which I don’t see happening this year cos of its political implications
It appeared as though, the dollar and fuel scarcity was a curse too until full deregulation happened

Has anyone ever actually studied the reason why we can’t have 24hrs power in Nigeria? Is there a curse in the power sector or what? All those that like reading and writing books do you have any explanation? I mean, no be juju be dis?
English

You still don’t pay anything near to the cost of getting power to you, you don’t
Some still pay as low as N43, only band A people currently pay close to the cost and hence their enjoyment of better service..it’s sad to say cos there’s so much people are grappling with already, but the shortage in the sector won’t stop until full deregulation happens..We can continue to shy away from it cos of politics and all..but it’s the only feasible way to availability
English

@Born2rule015 Cost reflective we've been battered with since OBJ days of anytime they want to up tariffs? When TPain & his power minister dumped tariff banding on us, it was d same excuse of cost reflective. tpain ll do all to make his criminal elites richer & d rest of us marinate in poverty?
English

@ibehalle @Big_marvis You need to first be smart to decipher who is..so that’s the stage you’re in and it’s understandable
English

@Born2rule015 @Big_marvis Honestly you are very correct cos u r not smart 🙄

Buhari paid subsidy on everything - petrol, dollars, electricity, CBN loans, took ways and means from the CBN to balance expenditure, yet you called him clueless, illiterate etc. Tinubu is doing the exact opposite, and here you are complaining again. You can't oppose Buhari's method and still come out to criticise Tinubu's method in less than 3 years. You have to be pathologically daft, for real.
English

@Big_marvis They’re crying for electricity now, not knowing the fastest solution to availability is deregulation
But by the time he removes subsidies on electricity to encourage investments in the sector, they will still complain of high cost
They really don’t know what they want..tbh
English

@Big_marvis Most of them lack basic knowledge on economics and are not ready to learn..
It’s also a problem of the rot in our educational institutions..Most people are graduate but not smart..

I would mention just 3, not like there are no much more but because you asked for one..
1.No more ASUU strike, 4yrs is now 4yrs in Uni
2.He’s building a major coastal road that connects 9states at a speed never seen before
3. No more fuel or dollar scarcity cos of his decision of full liberalization of both sectors.
Yes, these might not be appreciable by a layman but every educated mind that is not bias know the far reaching positive impacts of these policies, not losing sight of the short term pains associated with

If Trump decides to call off the war today and crude prices fall back to the $65–70 per barrel range, fuel prices would drop to around ₦750 per litre.
So for those calling for our President’s head over rising prices, Trump and the Iranian leaders actually have more power to reverse them than our President does.
This is what happens in a free-market economy, and it would be counterproductive to reverse the gains of the last two and a half years by returning to the unsustainable subsidy era just because of some ego-driven statements from Trump and Netanyahu.
English

But almost all the elites support BAT…from Dangote to Elumelu to Otedola to Rabiu and most company’s CEOs cos they’ve witnessed massive growth in the value of their firms as never seen before…
The people enjoying the benefits of the 200trn stock market capitalization will not support a charlatan to come and reverse their business gains

“Just The Way Man City Won The Trophy, Is The Same Way City Boys Movement Will Win The Presidential Election In 2027. Tinubu’s 8 Years As President Is Secured.” ~ Cubana Chief Priest. Nigeria quite sadly has a lot of classless people in the elite class.

@AJEnglish The US and Israel say what makes them happy, and then starts celebrating..However, the reality is obviously different
English

@Born2rule015 @AJEnglish @__labama If they had them, they would have shown them the second Trump sent carriers to the region. The US knew they had long range missiles.
The whole purpose of having a nuke is deterrence. See North Korea. They have perfected it.

The Iranian military has outlined a potential response to US President Donald Trump's threats to attack the country's power plants if Iran does not open the Strait of Hormuz.

@DarkoJohnson2k @AJEnglish @__labama Theirs is a secret, no one knows they have the long range missiles..If they have nukes they won’t do the formal procedures openly due to the restrictions, I just somehow believe these guys might already have it, if not they won’t be this courageous
English

@Born2rule015 @AJEnglish @__labama The first thing you do if you have a nuclear weapon, is to either test it and show everyone or at least act like you might have one. Iran has done neither.
Hiding it negates all the leverage of having one. Pointless.
