I've been nearly bankrupt. My factory burned down to zero. I've seen my containers drown in the sea. But this… still hurts. 3 months ago, life was different. The factory was running 24x7. Orders were full for the next 3 months. We needed 150 workers and still could not keep up. Today, it is the opposite. Half the machines are off. We need only 50 workers, and 200 are ready. Our pipeline is just 2 weeks. We went from shipping every day to not shipping at all. All because of war. Ships are not taking our cargo. Insurance is not covering our goods. Containers we sent are floating… with no clear end. Stock is sitting in our plant. Cash is not coming in. But expenses do not stop. We are bleeding. Today, we made a hard decision. We are shutting operations for 2 weeks. On paper, it makes sense. In the heart, it does not. It hurts to stop something you built with so much effort. It hurts to see people who depend on you stand still. The only light right now is our domestic business. It is growing. It is helping us stay alive. Not enough yet. But it is something. I keep reminding myself… we have been through worse. And we are still here. Tides turn fast. They always do. This war has shaken us. But it will not end us. We will survive this too. And when things get better, we will rise again.

@smtgpt Do you really think that his team won’t check token usage impact? You should talk about what you or your team is doing in AI space instead of giving MBA lessons. Also, if you haven’t burnt billions of tokens yourself solo then you can’t understand what is he trying to say.

I deeply respect Jensen Huang but disagree with his view here. He argues that founders should be concerned if their top engineers aren't burning massive AI tokens. Like a USD 500K engineer should be burning USD 250K in tokens every year. But tracking only token burn like this is a bad metric to measure output. High token burn doesn't automatically mean high productivity or output. And this isn’t just about core engineers. This applies to entire teams: product, marketing, ops, and sales. Someone burning through millions of tokens could just be writing inefficient prompts and not creating properly structured .md files or Skills to optimise for it. Tokens are the new compute, absolutely! But the goal has to be measuring output and impact, not just raw activity. Maybe some better metrics to measure can be: > Revenue generated per Token spent > Time-to-ship vs. Token consumption > CAC impact vs token spend How are you measuring the real ROI of your team's AI adoption? Curious to learn how other people and companies are measuring AI ROI.

Eternal’s Guidance: Real or Investor Bait? 1. Blinkit in 3 yrs: Ebitda Margin 0.3% → 5%; Sales 4X @ 60% CAGR 2. Eternal in 3 yrs: Ebitda → 7X @ $1B 3. Amazon Now 100 cities; Flipkart 1,500 dark stores; both can run @ Zero Ebitda 4. Why the hype? For exit liquidity? FACTS: Selling Future Dreams a. Deepender Goyal: Eternal's Sales will be 2X in 2 yrs; Adjusted Ebitda will increase 7X in 3 yrs to $1 billion. b. To achieve this Ebitda of $1B (₹9,400 crores), Blinkit’s Ebitda Margin must increase from the current 0.3% to 5%. (“More confident than ever” to achieve this margin, says CEO Albinder.) c. Sales Maturity: Blinkit says its top 8 cities have 90% pin code coverage (means, already saturated). Sales growth of 60% CAGR will come from smaller cities (where consumption is low, margins are low, local kirana shops dominate.) d. Blinkit has no moat, no pricing power, and faces high competitive intensity. Amazon Now announced yesterday they are coming to 100 cities with 1,000 micro-fulfillment centers. UBS note said Flipkart Minutes (Walmart) plans 1,500 dark stores in 2026. e. How will Blinkit’s Ebitda margin grow from 0.3% to 5-6% (company’s guidance) when Amazon & Walmart have the reputation and capacity to operate at zero margins till competition is finished? Both global giants are still not profitable in India after decades. f. Zomato Q4FY26: QoQ sales growth was negative @ -0.9%. Blinkit QoQ sales growth was only 8.2%. Even if we adjust for seasonal quarterly variations, it is going to be hard to achieve the following guidance: Blinkit: Sales @ 60% CAGR for next 12 quarters. ➡️ To achieve this kind of sales growth, not only store count must increase every quarter, but also sales per store (sales per sq. ft.) must grow every quarter. Eternal: Ebitda in 3 yrs @ $1 billion (7X of FY26 Ebitda) by FY29. It means, absolute Ebitda must grow @ 18% CAGR and Ebitda Margin must be 5% for next 12 quarters. ➡️ To achieve Ebitda margin expansion from 0.3% to 5%, Blinkit may have to sell mobile phones, televisions, and ACs, and not just groceries. Mgmt Guidance vs. Our Estimate Guidance: Zomato Sales: 20% CAGR Blinkit Sales: 60% CAGR Ebitda Margin: 5-6% Timeline $1B Ebitda: 3 YRS Our Estimate: Zomato Sales: 15% CAGR Blinkit Sales: 40% CAGR Ebitda Margin: 3-4% Timeline $1B Ebitda: 6 YRS INTERPRETATION: In our estimate, Eternal has priced in 6 years of future growth already (current PE is 1,027). So, for the PE multiple to normalize, the stock price may remain flat for the next 6 years. Lack of Accountability In the U.S., shareholders routinely come together to file class action lawsuits against companies for issuing over-optimistic forward-looking guidance. When the company misses the guidance, the Board of Directors can be investigated to determine if their guidance was deliberately misleading to trap small investors. In India, you may have to take your complaint to SEBI. But the entire financial ecosystem in India is designed to transfer the hard-earned wealth of small investors to the pockets of promoters and large operators. Endquote Warren Buffett: Life and Legacy (14 Jan, 2026, Premiered on CNBC) Host: What do you think is stupid in business these days? Buffett: I’ll give you an example. I think it’s very stupid for CEOs to emphasize during investor calls: “Here’s what we are going to do.” Believe me, I've been on 20 corporate boards aside from Berkshire. I’ve seen a lot of that behaviour by CEOs. They do not realize the impact on millions of people when they play with numbers. @arabicatrader

We just closed our Series B. $33M at $200M valuation. 3.3x step-up from Series A. I'll be honest, I almost didn't post about this. Valuation is the easiest number in a startup to celebrate. It's also the least real. It's just a number that our investors and us agreed on in a room. That's it. The numbers we actually celebrate are different ones: → 4 lakh demat accounts. Each customer acquired by our marketing teams, with honest messaging and sharp targeting. → 96% of orders executed under 10ms. Each millisecond fought for by our engineers who care deeply about slippage and losses. → 40+ product releases in 1 year. Each one shipped by a super lean product and tech team that is innovating at AI native speed. → 130 million trades processed since launch. Each one processed flawlessly by our dedicated Operations team, every single day → 90% CSAT positive rating. Each customer interaction carefully resolved with genuine care by our Customer Delight team These numbers don't come from capital. They come from the team. This Series B funding isn't a finish line. It's just rocketfuel for the team that built and operates this thing. And so, I raise a toast to the Team at @Sahi_HQ . Thank you for everything you bring to work every single day, and the impact you create. Onwards and upwards.
Accel in India@AccelIndia

Retail investors in India have come a long way. Today, millions of people are actively trading options, building strategies, and making split-second decisions. But most platforms were built for first-time investors. For the serious, active trader, that gap is felt every single day. Jumping between tabs to check charts, confirm data, and place an order, while the market moves faster than the platform can keep up. Sahi (@Sahi_HQ) was built to fix exactly that as an AI-powered broking platform designed from the ground up for active traders, where charting, analysis, and execution all happen on one screen. Behind this is a founder duo that understands both sides of the problem. Dale Vaz (@dale_vaz) brings hands-on trading experience and the engineering instincts of a former CTO of Swiggy. Manish Jain (@BeingMojo) built professional trading products at Kotak Securities and understands exactly where retail traders could be served better. We’re deepening our partnership with them as they continue to shorten the distance between insight and execution for traders. Despite what people think about F&O trading in India and all its problems, it is still a very, very small market compared to almost anything else. In fact, in the month of March, only about 30 lakh people traded an F&O contract. Across FY26 as a whole, only about 20 lakh people traded only in F&O. If you combine people who traded in equities and F&O, that number goes up to roughly 64 lakh. So this is still a very small market. Altogether, out of nearly 13 crore unique investors, only around 3.8 crore investors were active across cash and F&O. That means only about 30% of investors traded anything at all. And yet, the only reason broker revenues have held up is that a small number of people are trading more. Pretty much the entire revenue pool of the broking industry comes from this relatively small pool of traders. If you look at F&O turnover, around 60–70% of trading volumes come from a tiny set of investors, roughly just 1–2%. That is the lopsided structure of the Indian markets.

- 10 years ago, 1Cr bought a Villa. - Now, it buys a 2 (or 3 BHK) flat. - 10 years from now, it would buy a room. That's the power of inflation. Inflation & debasement of currency are inter-linked. And, last year INR got debased to the USD by 8%. 10Cr retirement planning looks great on an excel sheet. But, your reality gets impacted by currency debasement. How to protect? Invest in Assets. You don't get this? take the weekend out to study.

🚨WHAT META JUST DROPPED IS MORE DANGEROUS THAN ANYTHING OPENAI HAS EVER BUILT!!!!! while everyone was losing their mind over Claude Mythos.. Meta dropped something that nobody noticed.. they built an AI called TRIBE v2.. it's basically a digital copy of your brain.. you show it a video, a sound, a sentence.. and it already knows how your brain is going to react.. 70,000 different parts of your brain.. blood flow, oxygen, everything.. they trained it on 1,000 hours of brain scans from 700 real people lying inside MRI machines.. it doesn't read your thoughts.. it does something worse.. it knows what's going to make you feel something before you even feel it.. think about that for a second.. if an AI already knows which image, which sound, which word is going to hit your dopamine.. you don't need to read someone's mind.. you just build the perfect trap.. and meta didn't even keep it locked up.. they open-sourced it.. gave the code, the weights, everything to the entire world.. this is the same company that got caught making instagram destroy teenage girls.. the same company whose own research said their algorithm pushes rage because rage keeps you scrolling.. that company now has a working copy of how your brain responds to everything you see and hear.. they don't have to guess what keeps you glued to the screen anymore.. they can rehearse it on a copy of your brain before you ever see it.. the product was never the app.. the product was always you.. now they have the blueprint.
AI at Meta@AIatMeta

Today we're introducing TRIBE v2 (Trimodal Brain Encoder), a foundation model trained to predict how the human brain responds to almost any sight or sound. Building on our Algonauts 2025 award-winning architecture, TRIBE v2 draws on 500+ hours of fMRI recordings from 700+ people to create a digital twin of neural activity and enable zero-shot predictions for new subjects, languages, and tasks.
