"If cEDH wants to be taken seriously..." your format is serious when it gets events and has lots of people playing it for lots of prizing. Your formats internet points don't make it good or mean I can actually find a human irl to play it with.

@Zrob0 Thats strictly because I've already made the initial investment already though and am invested in the game's success. If I had to start from scratch and didn't care though, probably between 5 and 15k, depending on the level of production needed

@Zrob0 Depends on what cheap means. I think I could reasonably do a single day event for less than $500 if there isn't any casting or commentary. If I have to pay talent, then we are talking closer to 1.5-2k at the lowest.

Whoever solves cheap streaming for cedh events will get a lot of business

More power to startgg but there's a reason I've never enabled Klarna or PayPal Pay in 4 for tournament entries on TopDeck. It's just too degenerate, this is not something I can support, attending a tourney is a luxury, don't pay in 4 to go if you can't afford it.
