Good news for Cork commuters. From 20 July, the 90 Minute Fare will be introduced across the Cork metropolitan area, bringing it in line with the integrated fare system. Child fares will also be reduced, making public transport more affordable.

🇮🇪🇪🇺 With less than a week to go until Ireland assumes the Presidency of the EU, I was in Luxembourg today for Environment Council. I outlined Ireland’s priorities for the Environment Council and discussed the Presidency with Austria, France, Germany, Poland and Spain.

I agree with @MichealMartinTD here. The "triple lock" was brought in without a referendum and can and should be removed without one. I don't want Putin, Trump etc. having a veto over how Irish governments deploy our defence forces. This is a matter of sovereignty.

Decisions on migration should be taken in Ireland. Fianna Fáil-Fine Gael opting Ireland into the EU Migration Pact is wrong. It undermines Irish sovereignty, hands power on migration over to Brussels and won’t fix the serious problems that this government has created.
