Xelon Network Under Bot Farming Attack
We regret to inform you that the Xelon Network testnet is currently experiencing a massive bot farming attack.
The same malicious actors who have previously disrupted several crypto mining projects are now attempting to undermine Xelon Network by creating large numbers of bot accounts and artificially farming $XEL.
However, Xelon Network is not like the failed projects of the past. Unlike projects that were mined for years and then dumped, $XEL is built for success - and we are confident that we will prevail.
As this is a testnet, all miners are aware that changes can be made. In response to this attack, we want to make it clear that the attackers will not receive any rewards, as the Xelon app will remain offline until further updates are implemented.
xelon.network will be unavailable temporarily as we roll out security updates, which may include changes to the login method to protect against bot accounts and mass farming.
In just 5 days, the network reached over 100,000 users, and we are confident that we will surpass that number even faster after relaunch.
Stay tuned over the next 24–48 hours: the Xelon Network will restart from the Genesis block with enhanced safety rules to protect genuine miners.
