@wariocolosseum Yes, literally. Do you not understand how much work you're asking for? The wheelchair alone is doubling the time spent on mii actions because a wheelchair mii can't dance or stand for bowling or function in any of the preset cutscenes involving standing.

is it rlly too much to ask for things like wheelchairs, a colour picker for skin and hair, vitiligo, hijabs, etc to be included in tomodachi life

@forcejeoo @MINISKRAMBOL If you're expecting a kids game to do 10,000 times the work to represent every single type of person then it's frankly delusional. you're aware kids with differences are capable of using imagination and the in game tools, accept reality instead of spreading misery by complaining.

@BossmanJacky @MINISKRAMBOL im 15 therefore i am a child. i didnt mention any mobility aids just a "trait" similar to their age or sexuality so they could maybe act a little differently because i had my own characters in mind and didnt think of anyone who needed any aid

@SamTheFireD3M0N @sillymxowmeow you just aim the ball, it doesn't even have normal bowling complexities like power or angles or spin. there's a literal coinflip you can lose, the bowling one is not the one to look at for "forced losses"

@sillymxowmeow Its cuz none of us know how to play it and win So it feels like a waste of time, get toilet paper/tissues when we lose, and lose the ability to get a better treasure

Stephen King keeps writing horror because he's good at it and it makes him money, it wouldn't make him grow as a person to write another fantasy book that way less people would buy than horror..

@itsjonsbtw @emilunagames Having unconscious biases doesn't immediately make you an inherently bad person. The inability to learn and grow as a person does, though. A lot of people are genuinely well meaning but still let their biases show and it's important to learn from it

what if I said that this happens to so many people that focus on fictional characters because male characters are often more compelling or entertaining because writers allow them to have more interesting and dynamic personalities

@emilunagames well yeah characters are written based on real people and guess which type of person is more compelling or entertaining in real life. It's kinda like being shocked fictional dogs like to play fetch but fictional cats don't, the devs can't help it if cats aren't as into games.

@cinnajer If they add a wheelchair and crutches and armless miis ect, that's going to drastically add up fast when every single one needs to have custom animations for every activity, even things like redoing the Foto photos where half of them involve jumping.

@cinnajer You have to realize that disability rep in a game like this is asking for 10X the content. A wheelchair mii can't dance or stand for the bowling game or jog, ect, and making bespoke animations for things like tossing the baseball from the wheelchair is lot of work.

tomodachi life has been really fun but theres kind of a ridiculous lack of black hairstyles and i wish there was some disability rep. would love to give my flan mii some crutches or a wheel chair but i havent seen any of that in the game..

@arbaccios @selenixies @lev_vyy How dense are YOU that you think the cutscene is that relevant when the devs obviously don't think it is and the game is extremely successful as-is? Obviously the cutscene is irrelevant unless you're nitpicking, the game would not magically be more fun with a different one.

Maybe I’m a larper for saying this but I started telling my miis it’s a bad idea to befriend other miis bc I got bored of the befriending cutscenes. They really really could’ve done more for a $60 game I’m not sorry 😭😭
