T-minus 23 days until I get to read all your fabulous abstracts!! 😍🧪🧬📖 the link to the abstract submission form will be in your order receipt email (but if you can't find that, blast us an email at bbm@hms.harvard.edu)

Excited to share our recent pre-print! The Vibrio cholerae encoded Nezha anti-phage system (SIR2-HerA) restricts virulent vibriophages ICP1, ICP2, and ICP3 by depleting NAD+ (Abi💀). However, an ICP1 isolate can overcome this by encoding putative NAD+ regenerating proteins! ⚡️

Today we celebrated @implosian’s last day in my lab before she starts her independent lab at the Wadsworth Center. I could not have dreamt up a better postdoc to start the experimental side of the lab!
