We are happy to announce that we are part of the EU-project "Aquacombine". 𝘚𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘢 𝘦𝘶𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘢𝘦𝘢 will be analyzed and applications for its previously unused parts developed. @arielturcioss and @J_Hornbacher will be involved in growing and analyzing the plants.

The session of the Section @AppliBotany_DBG on the Botanikertagung in Bonn 2022 was entitled “Applied Botany for Sustainability”. The talks attracted many scientists, the lecture hall was overcrowded, what a success! The audience challenged the speakers with numerous questions.

Welcome to the tweets of the Section Applied Botany! The German Society of Applied Botany separated 100 years ago from the German Society for Plant Sciences. Only recently the section of @AppliBotany_DBG joint the @PlantSciDBG_en to make both basic and applied science stronger.

Our project about developing a plattform containing information on #constructed wetlands started in July last year. The website cwetlandsdata.com is constantly growing. Meanwhile a number of interesting #constructed wetland case studies were added.

We are happy about our improvements in the #Aquacombine project. Our first results are now released on the homepage aquacombine.eu. Recommendable for everyone who is interested in salt-tolerant plant species and bioeconomy!
