What is $MOCHI? (@MochiCircle) Mochi Circle, with the ticker $MOCHI, launched by @DefiApes on the @believeapp, is a token-powered platform for permissionless engagement. (TLDR at the end of the post) Introduction Mochi is a permissionless engagement network where you can increase the engagement on your content in a free and fair way. It lets you connect with like-minded people and engage with the content you love. Further, it gives you the possibility to find people who share your interests and passion, build genuine connections in your niche and find the perfect accounts to follow and engage with. You can think of it as the ultimate reply guy tool. Mochi has been building for over a year and the team is long-term oriented. Currently, they are profitable and facilitate over 3,500 replies daily on their web app. Why was Mochi created? Engagement Networks are a group of people that agree upon helping and supporting each other's content on social media in return for support on their own. There are different types of engagement networks like private groups on Telegram or Discord, automated networks with bot-driven systems, DM groups, paid services or influencer circles. People make use of this concept in order to have more reach and to make content trend or go viral. However, while these networks sound good in theory, they usually fail. Mochi was born out of this realization and addresses the pitfalls that make most engagement networks ineffective. They improved everything about the concept and built a solid tool that gives value to all of their users. Features Upon entering the web app, users can sign in by connecting their Twitter account. It is read-only access, which means Mochi doesn’t have access to your account. They can only view all your posts and the accounts you view. After logging in, it takes you to the main page of the product. Mochi offers various features, starting with Engage With Your Circle. Engage With Your Circle Engage With Your Circle shows you the post that other members of your group have done. Users can click the reply button, which opens up a new window with the post on Twitter. Here, you can read it, leave a reply and go back to the web app to go to the next post. However, if there is a post a user does not want to engage with, they can click the skip button in order to remove it from the list. By removing, a new post is added to the deck. After engaging with all the posts from your deck, the return button will turn into a verify button. The validator in the backend then ensures the user actually engaged/replied with all of the posts. After verification, the user can add their own post to their circle, which then shows up at other users’ circles. In addition, there are some ways to boost and multiply your posts if you have access to their premium features on the website by holding the token. Last but not least, you can also repost your content in your circle in order to receive extra engagement. NFTs Back in early 2024, Mochi had a free mint NFT on Base. By owning these NFTs, users can unlock premium features on the web app. The user must connect their wallet to the web app in order to verify ownership of the NFT. Depending on the amount of NFTs the wallet holds, multiple features and perks are unlocked. 1⃣Tier One Perks : By owning 1 Mochi Circle NFT users can expect 10% more engagement on their posts, a reduced post cooldown by 50%, no daily post limit and the ability to reshare previous posts to increase engagement. 2⃣Tier Two Perks : By owning 10 Mochi Circle NFTs, users get all Tier One Perks and instead of 10% more engagement on their posts, they get 25% more engagement on their posts. 3⃣Tier Three Perks : By owning 25 Mochi Circle NFTs, users get all Tier One Perks and Tier Two Perks and instead of 25% more engagement on their posts, they get 50% more engagement on their posts. The NFTs are purchasable on OpenSea with a current floor price of 0.0048 ETH ($12). Mochi Boosts Mochi also offers Mochi Boosts. These boosts are meant to increase the amount of engagement on your posts even more. They put you at the top of the list and will let you be featured to all users in Mochi Circle. Mochi offers 2 base packages, starting with a Single Boost for $60 and a Boost Pack including 3 boosts for $144. Next to this, it is possible to get custom rates for enterprises or individuals by reaching out on Discord. MOCHI Token and Utility At this moment, the MOCHI token is not integrated into the web app yet. However, MOCHI utility will work in the same way as the NFTs unlock premium features on the web app. The more of the token you hold, the higher the multipliers you get. In addition, Mochi is considering a Use-2-Burn mechanism where a percentage from the fees are used to buy and burn tokens every time a post is added to the Mochi Circle. This creates a flywheel effect for the token that can positively impact its value and utility over time. It works like this : 1. Users add a post in the Mochi Circle 2. Fees are used to buy tokens => Creates buy pressure 3. Bought tokens are burned => Reduces circulating supply 4. Scarcity increases => Fewer tokens available on the market 5. Token value may rise => Especially when usage increases 6. More users are incentivized to post => If token value increases or burns are publicly shared, users may want to increase their contribution 7. Cycle repeats with higher velocity => More usage - more buying - more burning - stronger token overall Upcoming Milestones / Roadmap 🟢AI Validator : The AI Validator will read all of a user’s replies that they’ve done to people’s posts and give them a score. With a high score, the multiplier in your circle will increase. On the other hand, a low score will give you a negative multiplier. 🟢Profile Levels : Mochi is planning on including a leveling system where users can opt in to advance to higher levels by adding more engagement to the circle. In return, they will receive higher multipliers that stack over time. 🟢Expansion to other social media like Instagram and TikTok. Founding Team Founder - @DefiApes : Atum is a medical doctor and got into building and crypto due to his passion for the space and the permissionless nature of it.
