gm nut enjoyoooors! Last night's launch of the Tiny SPL AMM marks the completion of phase 1 in our roadmap! When I initiated this project nearly a month ago, I never anticipated the incredible traction and following it would gather. Originally conceived as a simple weekend project, it aimed to address a pressing issue in the Solana space – the escalating price of SOL necessitated a solution for airdrops and token ownership without the burden of the 0.002 SOL rent per token. What started as a weekend hack unexpectedly went viral, causing a surge in traffic and temporarily bringing down some Solana RPC APIs on mint day due to my inefficient code 🙈 Over the past three weeks, we've iterated on the Tiny SPL protocol based on community feedback, introducing enhancements like the bulk combiner. With the remarkable support from our community, we raised nearly $160,000 in liquidity within 12 hours for bootstrapping the AMM liquidity pool. Ultimately, we successfully developed an entirely new AMM protocol enabling token swaps for the Tiny SPL standard! The completion of phase 1 heralds the beginning of phase 2 for Tiny SPL. In this next stage, our objectives include creating new utilities for Tiny SPL tokens, improving wallet support for the protocol, and open-sourcing the Tiny SPL standard. Our goal is to empower everyone to create their own Tiny SPL tokens, fostering a larger and more diverse ecosystem. Stay tuned for more reveals over the next few weeks 👀 Tiny SPL is a unique token standard which can be traded both as an NFT via NFT marketplaces or as a token via an AMM. On top of that, like Ordinals, the token metadata is also all on chain, while incurring no cost to the owner at all to store all these information on chain. The team is excited to build upon this technology and make phase 2 of the roadmap an even better one than phase 1, and we are very glad to have all you guys on this ride with us. Let's envision a future where users no longer need to connect their wallets to a claim site to retrieve $WEN tokens (thanks to nearly free airdrops into your wallet), where users don't require SOL to own their first USDC, and where generalized state compression is more prevalent on Solana. Really grateful for all the support up till now, we are so fucking early 📈📈📈
