study graph theory the entire universe runs on connections. neurons, roads, networks, friendships, computers, logistics, even ideas; all are graphs. graph theory is the math of relationships. it teaches you how things interact, not just what they are. you’ll start seeing everything as nodes and edges; and suddenly, complexity starts making sense. internet routing? graphs. social networks? graphs. neural networks? graphs. supply chains, power grids, ecosystems? all graphs. if you study graph theory deeply, you won’t just understand systems; you’ll see through them.

We're renting out 8 desks in our offices in Paris: super central (Haussmann), "founder mode" energy, kitchen, shower, professional studios in the office for video & podcast content. This is a private space so we can use it as we want. No boring coworking rules. Currently shared between 2 YC startups: @argildotai and @phospho_ai DM me if you want to get in

Station F after 6 pm or on weekends is a ghost town. A handful of motivated entrepreneurs show up, but the rest? Subsidized startups and a PR facade. @Xavier75 has dropped by several times at night to check on the 42 crew and startups, he’s been disappointed to see so few people in @joinstationf . Culture matters

It’s funny to see @HarryStebbings’ fomo over Station F. The reality is that after 8 PM, the occupancy rate falls below 10%. For a place meant to represent the heart of Paris’ startup grind that’s kind of sad. It is undoubtedly a great concept, but it lacks hustle.

now that openai’s operator has been released i have a genuine question: if we are going to automate away everything with these “agents” then what will be left to do?

New paper: We train LLMs on a particular behavior, e.g. always choosing risky options in economic decisions. They can *describe* their new behavior, despite no explicit mentions in the training data. So LLMs have a form of intuitive self-awareness 🧵

@getjonwithit The most baffling thing is AI researchers developing researching agents, lol They hate so much their job si they speed run destroying it Maybe it is due to the grants they need to write... Or just they have the same incentive as capitalism actually

The most depressing thing about AI hype and adoption is discovering just how many supposedly “technical” people I know genuinely just despise thinking, reading, writing, programming, proving theorems, etc., and will jump at the first possible opportunity to stop doing them.
