We had a lecture about #DíaDeMuertos, and learned more about the tradition. And, of course, we enjoyed some #archaeology visiting #montealban, #Mitla, #Yagul, #sanjosémogote.
We loved the people, food, and music.

We had a fantastic time with #BoundaryEndAdventures for our Day of the Dead fundraising trip in #oaxacamexico.
We learned about the black pottery process and fabrication of #alebrijes. We cooked green pipian, and grounded and prepared chocolate.

Thanks to everyone who reached out with support and kept us in their thoughts during the flooding last month from #HurricaneHelene. As you know, the valley we call home, as well as the greater #ashevillenc area, were absolutely devastated by flooding.
