A reminder of the importance of accessibility and autonomy for those who are Blind and/or visually impaired. It also coincides with World Sight Day - October 13, 2022! Braille is a tactile reading and writing system invented in 1819 by Louis Braille as a form of Military code.

Did you know that September is Deaf Awareness month? In honor of celebrating and spreading awareness of Deafness, Deaf culture, hearing loss, and Deaf identity, here are some helpful tips that were shared by one of our very own Boundless Washington students, Josiah!

#BoundlessWA consists of 2 parts: outdoor adventure + leadership training for young people with disabilities. This weekend everyone got out of their comfort zones by setting up camp, doing a nighttime kayaking trip, and sleeping (or trying to sleep) in a tent. 🏕 #waedu #waleg
