if nothing else I'm glad that luka has found his killer instinct and joy again. say what you will about him, the trade, and everything else, but it was a bummer that such a great talent was having his career derailed in the middle of his prime. so this is cool! good for him.

@Boweman55 Lol and I’m saying Luka’s wasn’t “silly.” He took 10 less FGs, 27 less free throws, and had 4 more assists. I’m specifically saying his 73 does not belong in the same “silly” category as Bam’s 83 which was 100% forced against a tanking team in a meaningless game.

the thing about crazy scoring performances in the NBA is that it's almost impossible to "ethically" do it. you can go back to every 70+ point game and see the worst defense imaginable, laughable possessions. so you just sorta have to live with it. that's the way it is.

@Boweman55 I guess but he did it against bonafide NBA players and wing talent (Jalen Johnson, Okongwu, Saddiq Bey, etc). He was torching guys who belonged on the nba court in a natural flow. Unlike tonight’s monstrosity in Washington. Luka didn’t force anything. Didn’t take 22 3pt shots.

@Boweman55 Well, except when you play 12 more minutes than any other starter on the team in a game where almost the entirely of the 4Q your team had a 20 point lead and you break the all time FTA record while your team is intentionally fouling late in the game up 20 to get you the ball back
