It was a great first week! We got rid of our jitters, released 6 butterflies, had our first assembly, met Spirit, and so much more! Looking forward to more learning and exploring with this crew!

Our desk pets are growing 🐛 The biggest one is about 12mm. We have a few more that hatched today too!

The students are loving their new desk pets 🐛! They have named them and are responsible for giving them air breaks, feeding them, and changing their “diapers” (as they call it). Hopefully they will get to see the entire process before the end of the year! 🐛🦋 @SouthsidePublic

The 11U @Woodstock_WMBA Tier 1 Wranglers went 5 and 0 with 62 runs for & only 6 against in winning the St Thomas 11U Cardinal Classic in a total team effort of great pitching, great hitting and some amazing defence all weekend long!!

We asked, they came!!!! They wrote them a letter, made signs to our room, and made the very best traps. It was another year of no luck, but the kids were so excited to see what the little leprechauns did! Glad you were able to witness the excitement @horvath_kelly!

Continuing to add to our Olympic board! Our Paralympians are doing so well! It’s sad how much harder it is to find the results and pictures when in so many ways these athletes are stronger, more brave, even more talented, and have persevered through and overcame many obstacles.

Happy birthday #DrSeuss! We had so much fun reading your stories, making rhymes, measuring, doing puzzles, and celebrating you! @storytime_show made a great book even better by adding their humour, the kids love listening to them read!
