Overwhelming sense of relief not jubilation. A disgraceful season that can't be forgotten just because they got away with it. Totally unacceptable and heads must roll this summer amongst the hierarchy. This can never happen again.

קיבלתי בצער רב את הידיעה על נפילתו של סמ"ר נגב דגן, לוחם בחטיבת גולני, שנפל בקרב בדרום לבנון.
בשם מערכת הביטחון כולה אני שולח תנחומים מעומק הלב למשפחתו ומחבק אותם בשעה הקשה מכל.
אני מבקש לחזק את חיילי צה"ל וכוחות הביטחון שפועלים גם בשעה זו בלבנון בנחישות, באומץ ובמסירות למען הגנת יישובי הצפון והשבת הביטחון לתושבים.
מדינת ישראל תמשיך לפעול בעוצמה מול כל איום עד להשגת כל יעדי המלחמה.
