Team Uganda’s Athlete Support Programme Continues The Medical and Anti-Doping Commission, together with the Safeguarding Officer, today continued its athlete support programme with safeguarding awareness sessions, anti-doping education, and medical examinations for Team Uganda athletes and officials preparing for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.

Today's sessions were conducted at Hamza Stadium, where the boxing team and officials participated, and at the Ndeeba training camp, where the para powerlifting team underwent the same programme. The ongoing initiative is designed to ensure that Team Uganda athletes are healthy, well-informed, and compete in a safe sporting environment. Through these engagements, athletes continue to receive vital education on clean sport, safeguarding principles, and comprehensive medical assessments as preparations for Glasgow 2026 intensify.
