That's rough! A 70%+ drop is not good to any movie, regardless if it's horror or not. And the fact that despite it opening much bigger than Scream VI it will gross almost the same as it in it's 2nd weekend. The legs are genuinely horrible!

The obnoxiously dull SCREAM 7 is what I'm calling a "pointer" - a movie more interested in creating moments to make fans point at the screen in recognition rather than being compelling or logical. Feels like the kind of tired, dumb slasher the original was made in reaction to.
