It's been a day of Jubilee celebration with a stay and play party in the Early Years, a drama workshop in KS1 and a 'play in a day' in KS2 - not to mention our picnic lunch and our performance for parents at the end of the day! What a brilliant end to our half term! ❤️🤍💙

We can safely say that whatever concerts the Queen attends to celebrate her Jubilee, none will be as wonderful as this evening's Jubilee recital. We saw talent, commitment, bravery and utter magic! Congratulations to the children and Mrs N for a fabulous evening of music!❤️🤍💙

Thank you to @GrassingtonFest and @samediff_art for a fabulous drama workshop and an exciting performance of Alice in Wonderland. The children loved their afternoon of drama! 😆🤩🥳

Our children enjoyed a high energy and hugely exciting afternoon orienteering. Look at the determination on the children's faces - they loved the competition and challenge! It was PE, geography and problem solving all rolled into one! Airienteers 🏃‍♀️🏃🏃‍♂️

We are so fortunate to have such an exciting and expansive woodland area where our children can learn and play. The theme in the EYFS this week is gardening and growing and yesterday, the children enjoyed their plant treasure hunt! 🌿🌸🍀

Happy Easter everyone! Our term ended with so much enjoyment! The Easter Egg hunt, organised by our fabulous FOBs was a huge success. Thank you all for supporting it. Thank you also to Tesco stores in Skipton and Ilkley for kindly donating the Easter Eggs! #Tesco

We experienced all four seasons in one day today but that did not deter our children from making the most of their fabulous Forest School lessons with Miss Allen. As soon as the blizzard stopped and the sun came out, they were off! ☀️❄️🌧

Happy Red Nose Day! The children have celebrated and fundraised in style today. Our lovely catering manager judged the bake-off but we all enjoyed the cakes and biscuits that the children had baked to raise money for Comic Relief! 🧁🍪🔴 #rednoseday2022 #comicrelief2022

Children in Years 3 to 6 enjoyed getting out in the sunshine for their bush craft lessons today. Some fabulous shelters were built and some effective bows and arrows crafted. What lucky children to have such a brilliant experience in their own school grounds! 🌳💚🏹

Our Early Years children loved putting on their wellies and heading down to the farm today! Thank you very much to the Middleton family for letting us visit at such a busy time of year. We had a fabulous time! 🐑🚜☀️

We are bursting with pride today: our children performed at Skipton Music Festival today where they impressed everyone with their beautiful singing and their impeccable behaviour. Our KS2 group came 1st and our school choir came 2nd what an achievement! ⭐️🥳⭐️🏆

We had a lovely celebration assembly this morning when we enjoyed hearing about the children's successes both in and out of school. It was double success for these two sisters who both won their class's trophy. Well done, girls! 🤩🏆⭐️

World Book Day and it's been all about The Gruffalo in our Early Years; story telling, drawing, writing and even baking Gruffalo Crumble!

Today has been a busy day. When not playing rugby our KS2 children were building shelters in the woods to shelter from the rain! 🌳🌧💚

We are proud to introduce Phillichristian Kores who is 11 years old and lives in Kashani, Kenya. The money that our children raised is supporting Phillichristian by paying for his school uniform, breakfast, lunch, books and exams. 🇰🇪 #educatethekids
