Missing the point again. The process was the problem the entire time. It was NEVER about missing Fred and Steve. Those were just lazy and convenient excuses for why we played such a bass ackwards style. We iso'ed too much for a team with no "ball handlers". Now we are moving the ball more and guys are attacking cracks in the defense. I'm not letting anyone get away with the Fred/Steve excuse. It won't matter if the process is shit. They definitely are a bonus to what we doing now. But Udoka used them as a crutch and got lazy. Been explaining this very thing to the fanbase for a year.
