Just returned from visiting customers across Latin America, and one topic came up everywhere: AI. Not in a futuristic sense, but practical questions: Can we trust it? Where does it help? Where does it create risk? That’s why I believe AI in aviation should mean Aviation Intelligence, not just Artificial Intelligence. In aviation, technology only works when trust is earned. A confident-but-wrong AI answer isn’t just inconvenient, it can impact safety, operations, and decision-making. The industry doesn’t need more hype. It needs trusted data, safeguards, and operationally sound AI built specifically for aviation.
