Another very, very transparent and passionate press conference from Matt Wells tonight. Watching this game from the press balcony was a "thoroughly unenjoyable" experience, he said. He said the penalties were both soft, but points finger internally at overall performance.

@BraidonNourse With the KSE ownership group and the status of all their other teams, I’m surprised they haven’t invested in the Rapids. Need a splash signing. We really don’t get calls that other teams get. Need a big signing to swing the tides of calls.

FINAL: Rapids lose their fifth of last six MLS matches, 2-1, to FC Dallas. Pretty sour taste going into the World Cup break. Officiating of late has left much to be desired. Either way, giving up two penalties can't happen. Paxten Aaronson scored his fourth of the year.

Dante Sealy's woes continue. Paxten Aaronson blasts a shot off Jonathan Sirois's chest, Sealy follows it up and gets the rebound all wrong. Great chance to tie this thing up

HALFTIME: FC Dallas leads the Colorado Rapids, 2-1, after two penalties. Georgi Minoungou and Paxten Aaronson connected for the Rapids' only goal. They both also gave up FCD's penalties.
