It's nice to see @MLB consider providing licensed clinicians for players. While they have been progressive by staffing teams with mental skills coaches, few of them are trained/licensed clinicians. Both, mental skills & mental health need to be addressed. si.com/mlb/2021/05/10…

Today, I am doing some research on sports injury prevention. Despite empirical studies on the role of #sleep and #cortisol (stress mgmt.) & injury prevalence, I can't find ANY mention of this. Physical injury prevention is obv. important, but don't forget psych/brain prevention!
