Practically, it's going to be difficult for Watson to find a team that's going to give him $30+ million. With Ayo Dosunmu signing for $22 mil per year, I think that's about what makes sense for both sides to settle on. It's in Denver's best interest to squeeze him more tho.

If I were the Denver Nuggets I would be willing to do a Colby White trade. In particular, I could see the Nuggets working a Christian Braun for Colby White (+) trade that would be the Hornets more defense and while Denver guarantees their top 6 rotation and Watson starts at SG.

Darius Acuff Jr and Cam Carr are “my guys” in this NBA Draft and I feel great about where both might end up. Acuff to the Clippers or Nets would be incredible. As much as I’d hate it Cam Carr to the Thunder would be OD.

@CTFazio24 i would trade up for cameron carr. Strawther and 26 to charlotte for 18 or toronto for either 19 or 20 which ever they have. Carr is really good reminds me of Devin vassell.

@PacersBTB Trade nesmith to Denver for Cam johnson. Makes too much sense for both teams. Cam offers more shooting and height at 6’8 and he’s no slack on defense. Denver wants to shed salary and get a good 3&D guy with athleticism in Nesmith.

Pacers nation. Should we look at what is out there on the market for what we could get for Aaron Nesmith? HEAR ME OUT….I love the guy and totally okay with keeping him, please don’t get me wrong with that. But there has been a lot of talk about being aggressive this offseason and I’m curious as to what would be considered “aggressive” because I think trading Nesmith for a taller 6’8 player who plays just as good as him would be VERY beneficial for us and definitely would be considered an “aggressive” move by the Pacers. Example : let’s pretend we matchup with a team that has height at the 3 spot.. Like 6’7 and taller…. And we’re on a deep playoff run ….i feel from watching Nesmith. Because he is 6’5. It kinda disables us at that position in the sense that he always seems to get into foul trouble in those match ups more often than not, and I think that has a lot to do with the fact that he’s on the “smaller” side of being a small forward. When you think of the modern day small forwards on championship contending teams they’re normally 6’7, 6’8 or taller..Granted he’s a dynamic player and decent on defense and gave us GREAT games. Nesmith the player is just fine and fits our system very well….but, should we try to look for someone taller to matchup with the taller match ups that other teams have or just keep the investment with Nesmith? Nuggets have to get younger, faster and find a guard that can get to the rim. That’s got to be offseason need #1: A ball-handler that can get into the paint and put pressure on the defense.
