This gorgeous little Green Sandpiper has been making the most of the wet fields by Maudlin Lane near Bramber recently. A beautiful bird which will no doubt be gone soon as it heads off to breed. So catch it while you can! Photos: Richard Phillips

23rd Feb, birding days can be just as rewarding by enjoying the scenery and the people you bump into. A day of no year ticks still brought joy up at the Burgh and Waltham Brooks with raptors galore. The outdoors clears the mind.

A Pallas's Warbler was at Brooklands on Weds (Nov 5th). 😍 This rare bird is only the 10th recorded in the SDOS area and the third for Brooklands. The last at Brooklands in 2018 amazingly spent much of its stay in the exact same place! Photo by Richard Allan 📷
