In the Sringeri constituency assembly election, the postal votes cast for the Congress candidate have been tampered with and invalidated during the recount. We will fight this legally. The defeat of Congress candidate Shri T.D. Rajegowda in the recount of Sringeri assembly constituency raises serious concerns. Votes that were clearly shown as valid in favour of the Congress candidate were later taken inside and altered through double marking, raising serious questions about the role of officials and the integrity of the process. Each postal vote had already been opened, shown to agents of both parties, and duly validated, making the later changes during recount completely unacceptable. This is not just about one constituency, it is about protecting the sanctity of our democracy. I urge the Election Commission to order a thorough and impartial investigation and ensure strict action against those responsible. We will take this truth to the people and pursue this matter through every democratic means.
