By Mexican law, you would be considered Mexican either way. BUT the majority of people who disagree with this do it on the basis that if you did not grow up in Mexico, lived in Mexico, experienced the proper Mexican culture in the homeland, then you are not considered Mexican. My dynasty then went to conquer Morocco and most of Tunisia. At around that time the French were getting uppity with me so I invaded Aquitane and slowly began to chip away at the rest of France. Meanwhile I had a Grandson in the Throne of Italy but he ended up being dethroned for a Christian King. So I then invaded Upper Italy to put him back in the throne, but the moment I won, my Vassals in Morocco revolted and at around the same time the Pope called for a Crusade on Italy. My empire was stretched with half my army down in Morocco and fhe other Half + Allies defending along the Alps against a 100k crusader army. I was in huge debt plus not enough manpower left after losing both wars so the other kingdoms around me began declaring wars on me Non stop. In the end I ended up with just the core territory in Iberia, but we ended up Losing Galicia to the English. 😭
