I see people blaming Crunchyroll for this (and the deserve SOME blame since they're under the same umbrella.) But all your slings and arrows should be directed at Aniplex. Aniplex does this shit ALL THE TIME. They license a show out to America, and then once it lapses, it vanishes from markets never to be available again. Many shows that have small but devoted followings, to ones that are CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED go out of print or leave streaming because Aniplex doesn't want to renew the license with U.S. Companies. They are not alone in doing this, but they are the most blatant. So to anyone on JP Twitter reading this, this is why us U.S. anime fans resort to piracy.
