Scenario w some friends of mine: Man and woman have been dating for a bit over four years, since they were 20 in uni together. They're nearly 25 now. They both have good, stable jobs. Woman wants man to propose. He wants to wait. This annoys her. She is:

@GRobs_Boston Exactly! If the last text before silence is like 48 hrs out or so, no confirmation should be needed. And if there’s more texting in between, then you definitely shouldn’t be pulling what grey did. I always text to confirm now, but only because this has happened more than once

@BrandonRoss99 right? like usually if i went on a first date i feel like id be texting them at least a couple times in between but the fact that they were both radio silent feel like there should’ve been confirmation. i think 4 hours out is totally reasonable to confirm!

@GRobs_Boston This is right. With a 3 day gap, if you’re grey and unsure, just text to confirm (but purple could too). I was purple in this situation once: 36 hrs between last text talking about date and date itself. Texted 4 hrs out to confirm. She says “too late, already made other plans”🥴

@WilliamRosenTV William, this means the world. I also loved being able to end my time at Marist sharing the air with you. I'm excited to see you keep crushing it in Poughkeepsie and beyond. Hopefully there will still be many more Chipotle runs and NYC encounters in our future!

To one of the first people I met here at Marist, Brandon — it has always been so great to learn from you, laugh at each other in the booth, and yesterday having the opportunity to finally work directly with each other! While it was basically two years of working together/across from each other in the press box, yesterday was a perfect ending to a great working relationship! To more Chipotle, NYC Run-Ins, and Broadcasts down the line, best wishes in the field of Law! The shoes in the William’s Lumber and Home booth will be hard to fill next year!
