This one really hits home for me… It’s been such a rollercoaster ride in entrepreneurship and business over the years. The Sacrifices made. The hardships and tears shed. Since I was a kid I’ve always strived to elevate everyone around me to help them become more and do more than they thought was possible… From being an Inventor and Selling Ice in my early 20s to becoming an Investor and helping people elevate their companies and brands with Accelerant Media Group in my late 20s and early 30s. One thing has always remained consistent. And that is humanizing myself and all the brands I’ve worked with. Take away all the business accolades, money made, and company milestones hit. At the end of the day, we are all people who want to connect with real people who are doing good in the world. This is why I believe in the power of a Personal Brand and how that brand can impact your company and all of the lives you come in contact with. The right people in your corner can change everything🔥 When my car was repossessed and I was selling things off my walls, it was my mentors and the people around me that got me through. Now I've brought those same people together to help other founders do the same. That's what @bigbrandventure is built on. You’ll fail, but failure teaches you how to pivot and move faster. The people who win are the ones who act the most, not the ones who think the most. Ask yourself: What are you willing to give up to go up? What habits or people are holding you back? What sacrifices are you willing to make to hit the next level? The truth is, growth always requires giving something up whether that be comfort, routine, or even old versions of yourself. Consider this your sign to start now! Opportunity doesn’t come around often, and when it does, you better be ready! Most people screw up when they get the chance to pitch themselves. They finally get in front of someone influential or someone who could change their business forever and they stumble. They don’t know their story, they ramble, and eventually they lose the room. When I was first starting out as an inventor, I practiced my pitch relentlessly. I pitched on pilot runs of TV shows, at Shark Tank castings, in front of friends, family, a camera or anyone who would listen. By the time I walked into a real room full of investors, it wasn’t even a pitch anymore. It was a story I had lived and believed in. That preparation made the difference. If you had 30 seconds with the right person, would you be ready for that moment?

The burden of feeling like you’re never enough is real. You’re not alone, I feel it too.

People ask me all the time: "Brandon, how do you get access to those kinds of people?" The honest answer is that money cannot buy an inner circle. I've spent over 15 years building it through one relationship, one value exchange, and one kept promise at a time. Early in my career, I looked for people who had already achieved what I wanted to achieve. I asked myself: What specialized knowledge or value could I bring to someone who already had money, status, and connections? That question changed everything. You have to find your "value add" and use it relentlessly. For me, the answer was 3 things: exposure, fundraising, and connections. I launched a podcast, put influential names on my stages, and helped people raise money through crowdfunding books, films, projects, and businesses. What I got back at first was respect, not money. It was a reputation as someone who did what they said they were going to do. And over time, that reputation compounded into something far more valuable than any short-term deal. A real inner circle is a value system. It is built on reciprocity, trust, and a genuine desire to see everyone around you win. Remember, never let ego kill what you built. The most dangerous thing that can happen once you build an inner circle is thinking you no longer have to earn your place in it. The people worth having in your circle are watching how you show up, not just what you have achieved. When you stay hungry and keep delivering, you attract other value creators. And those people bring their energy, their networks, and their resources into everything you are building together. This is how I built an inner circle that today spans industries, continents, and 9-figure relationships. I've done this by becoming someone worth knowing and someone worth trusting.
