A Somalian man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a car ploughed into multiple pedestrians in Ealing Broadway, London. Five people were injured in the incident just before 2:30pm on Saturday. Two were treated at the scene, while three were taken to hospital. Truly shocking scenes in broad daylight. Hoping all those injured make a full recovery. What on earth is happening to our streets?

@CentreWriteMag So, is it be better to focus on unleashing private capital investment (e.g. ISAs & bonds) and creating SEZs with tax relief to stimulate manufacturing growth, rather than simply taxing more? We can win back rural Britain, but we need an economic plan that pivots the focus to them

@CentreWriteMag Great article. But I wonder if a wealth tax will work to revive manufacturing in the north. With all due respect, everyone wants to tax the rich. But 1) Where to draw the line between hard-working, capable Brits and the "rich"? 2) Will the rich accept the tax willingly?

🚨 How many more deaths before we admit the asylum system is broken? The stabbing in Belfast is not an isolated case. An Afghan refugee who had already killed twice in Serbia. A Moroccan extremist rejected across Europe. Both entered Britain. Both went on to kill.

I am an immigrant, and here's my take on two-tier policing. I'm tired of being told that asking questions about policing is always "racist" and "divisive". But rather than resorting to violence, let's do something more constructive to reform the police force. Agree or Disagree?
