@pascaliito @smokesthegiant Aang had tons of guidance too. Regardless, Aang himself told the white lotus to keep him (Korra his reincarnation) safe. They guarded and kept her isolated only because tenzin and her dad told them to after the red lotus tried to kidnap and kill her when she was 5.
