Update #3 Each team will eventually have their own window to take the Yard of Bricks photos over the next several days. Penske was first, but the opportunity will be presented to all teams over the week.

@ECRIndy @TylerWong65 “Minor” injuries don’t typically require surgery. I appreciate that stabilization will be done to accelerate ability to participate. But any nails or pins will make 500 miles difficult. @AskOffTrack will be can’t miss this week. When will it be up, @Hinchtown ?

[UPDATE] ECR driver Alexander Rossi underwent successful outpatient procedures this evening to repair minor injuries to a finger on his left hand and his right ankle. He sustained the injuries earlier today during an on-track incident while practicing for the Indianapolis 500. Rossi is in good spirits and has no additional injuries.
Rossi’s recovery will be under the care of INDYCAR Medical Director Dr. Julia Vaizer and the INDYCAR medical team. His progress will continue to be evaluated with the full intent of participating in final practice on Friday, May 22 and the 110th Running of the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, May 24.
The No. 20 Java House Chevrolet crew will prepare a backup car and return to the track for final practice on Friday, May 22.
Additional updates will be provided when available.

@MrExtremeRules @bobpockrass Yep. The Pato second impact was potentially worse as he’s not expecting it, and the side pod is destroyed already.

@bobpockrass I think the worst of the crash was when he got hit after hitting the wall, its shredded the side of car. That crash really showed how far indy car safety has come in the years.

Well, it took 2 weeks for the retired weather guy to weather post. But this might be relevant.
Looks like soaking rains (& thunder ⚡) Sunday/Monday. I'm hoping some version of this Canadian model rain output happens by Tuesday.
Euro is similar.

The “not throwing yellows that mess with pit cycles” is such a dumb and unsafe policy. Part of strategy and pitting early or staying out is playing your luck about whether or not cautions will happen. They gotta stop doing this
