🌩THU-2:39 PM: Our second round of showers and thunderstorms is pushing through Walterboro and Moncks Corner, pushing East/Southeast Towards Charleston County. Lightning, gusty winds and heavy downpours are expected over the next 2-3 hours as this moves through. #scwx

⚡WED-5:41 PM: There's a Marginal (1/5) chance for strong storms Thursday afternoon. Much of this activity will be determined by how quickly morning showers clear out. More sunshine=more fuel. We'll keep an eye on it but concern is overall low. Just worth watching. #scwx

Joint Base Charleston officials announced today that the 2026 Charleston Airshow, scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026, over the Charleston Harbor, has been canceled due to adverse weather conditions.

There's basically zero awareness of Western Nebraska and Eastern Wyoming. You have to drive there. It's some of the Most American Geography we have. Unlike anywhere else.

A squall line of severe thunderstorms will develop along and ahead of a strong cold front on Monday. Winds ahead of the storms will strengthen, with gusts around 40 mph possible across Charleston and Tidal Berkeley Counties.
