Ambassador Pedro Miguel da Costa e Silva took part today in an @Euractiv agrifood policy debate, underscoring the importance of the EU–Mercosur Agreement to create opportunities for both regions’ agricultural sectors, while enhancing trade and sustainable production.

On March 11, the Mission of Brazil to the EU participated as a speaker in an event organized by the Hanse-Office on the EU–Mercosur Agreement. In a productive exchange with the private sector, business opportunities created by the Agreement were highlighted.

The agenda included meetings with the European Commission and the European Parliament to exchange perspectives on digital regulation in Brazil and the EU. The visit provided an opportunity for further strengthening the bilateral dialogue on digital issues.

On March 5th and 6th, the Mission of Brazil to the EU accompanied the visit of a Brazilian delegation on Artificial Inteligence, digital regulation and the protection of minors online, led by the National Data Protection Authority and the Ministry of Communications.
