Farming and nature are intrinsically linked in the Brecks. It’s great to have the opportunity to feed this into the new book being written by ex-RSPB Chair Kevin Cox.

Carl Sayer @carlsayerUCL and Hayley led such an inspiring farm walk last week. A wonderful reminder that the Brecks is a recognised 'Important Freshwater Area’ and just how crucial our project is for creating and restoring wetland habitats

Newly established cultivated margins show how quickly nature responds in the Brecks.Home to rare arable plants & perfect feeding habitat for turtle doves. We're creating 600miles of this amazing habitat, proving as @FrederickHiam have done here how to produce food & recover nature!

We're very fortunate to have the support of dedicated and knowledgeable partners like our local Natural England team, who we met with this week. Restoring nature is a complex challenge that requires careful balance, and it’s encouraging to know we’re on the right track.

Breckland Landscape Recovery getting it ‘just right’. Ambitious, but achievable. Complex enough to hit objectives for nature, but straightforward enough to actually be delivered. Enthusiastic, but realistic leadership. It’s conservation Baby Bear’s porridge. Well done them 👏👏
