The bats were on fire this evening, as the Manatees launched 17 hits and scored 13 runs en route to a decisive 13-2 victory over Rock Valley. Softball advances to play tomorrow at 11 am versus Des Moines Area College.

Softball falls in the championship game 6-8 on a walk-off home run. The Manatees finish as state runner ups. We now wait to see if we will receive an at-large bid to Nationals.

Softball splits two games today in the FCSAA Softball Championship. The Manatees lost a heartbreaker against St. John's River in game 1. A walk-off single propels the Vikings past the Manatees. In game 2, the offense put on a show. SCF collected 17 hits and 23 total bases.

Congratulations to @SCFManateesSB’s Bree Urban who was named Player of the Week in back-to-back weeks. Bree helped lead the Manatees to wins over Pasco-Hernando, FSCJ, and Lake-Sumter. She now leads the state in batting average while leading the team in home runs and RBI.
