@childlitprof So, many kids love creepy stories. Especially when scary things are going on the world. Middle grade horror is the hottest thing in our library right now — can’t keep it on the shelves. We’ll definitely be spending funds on growing the “scary story” part of our collection.

Charter schools and private schools aren’t required to admit every child. They aren’t required to have a SpEd program or make accommodations. Public schools are required to accept every child and meet their needs…defunding public schools threatens the most vulnerable kids.

Yesterday, two of our customers got hitched at the restaurant next door. Between ceremony and reception guests were invited to choose a book from our shop. We kept a running tab. An open book bar! I present this to you in case you thought the world had run out of good ideas.
