I think this is an incredible article And written with such style and jeopardy. What is happening in schools across Ireland is a breach of parental rights under the 1997 Education Act and an Bunreacht. I notice that in the UK edition they always credit the activist organisations like Transgender Trend, Safe Schools Alliance or Sex matters but here they never do, why is that? After all @Jklunden did that whistleblower interview and runs @NaturalWomensIE that is exposing the books and materials and it was I who described Aisling’s situation as a legal no man’s land. We are the organisations supporting the individual whistleblowers and working non stop but nearly always omitted from coverage like this. Why does this happen here but not in the UK? @TheCountessIE have only just released our guides and it would have been great to have them mentioned as a tangible example of fightback. We don’t get paid so a credit is the payback as such for the six long years of unpaid work highlighting this. They know they’re men. They know you know they’re men. It’s all just a test to see what you’ll tolerate before saying “no”.

Reports that ESB is allowing access to female-only spaces based on “gender identity” are deeply disturbing. This policy undermines single-sex provision, which Irish equality law explicitly protects for intimate spaces precisely to safeguard privacy & dignity. Women are speaking out because they feel unsafe & unheard. Their concerns are valid. Males do not belong in female-only changing rooms or toilets. Women are paying the price for self I.D. The Countess stands with every woman raising her voice. We call on the ESB to immediately reverse this policy, uphold sex-based rights, & provide proper single-sex facilities alongside appropriate alternatives for others. Leo Varadkar states “The issue of males in women’s spaces has an added dimension of safety. Males are stronger than females. Women’s concerns should not be dismissed. I do not see an easy solution.” An “easy solution” is to provide an alternative space for these men. Women should not be denied their human right to dignity & privacy because a man claims to be a woman. No one can change sex and no man can ever become a woman. To believe otherwise means accepting there is no universal definition of truth. Laws cannot be designed around “your truth, my truth”. This is subjectivism that will lead to chaos.

The State has been given more time to file its response to Jozef Puska’s extensive appeal against his conviction for murdering schoolteacher Aishling Murphy, after a court was told the killer’s legal team were over a month late filing their paperwork.
