@shinyycatherine Tbh, the Howie Scream is in the public domain, similar to the Wilhelm Scream. There's a very strong chance Game Freak's SFX Designer used a sample of the Howie Scream, sped it up + pitched shifted it, and layered it with the machine + galaxy-esque "mood" effects to create the cry

My daughter's 16th birthday is on Friday. I traded my car in to buy her a newer used vehicle for her birthday. I wasn't allowed to drive or given the opportunities to when I was younger and I feel like it really didn't set me up well for later in life. I eventually got my license in my early 30s though. I hope having freedom gives her confidence and more opportunities than I had growing up. But man they grow up fast...🥲
