All-Star Spotlight: Brett Sawaya, Blue Valley SW, is the son of Sara & Ben Sawaya. Sawaya, a team Captain, was named All Conference, EKL Honorable Mention OL & DL, and won the Team 1st Award. Brett will attend Brigham Young University pursuing business or engineering.

Tonight I got to celebrate with Brett Sawaya and his family at the GKCFCA Scholars Award Banquet where he received a $1,000 scholarship from McCarthy Auto Group. Pretty proud coach!

When you have 17 Seniors Selecting Captains is a process. Sawaya, Falkner, and Templar will join Besheer and Petersen as Captains of the Timberwolves in 2023.
