Alex Bretzman struck out seven and allowed just five hits in a complete-game shutout for the @Jackson_Bulls in their 2-0 win over Lakefield.

Tonight at 6:30 it's JCC vs. Hawley in the state Class 2A softball semifinals. However, I prefer to call it........the Alex Bretzman Bowl.

Alex Bretzman was the winning pitcher. He struck out six in five innings.

Four Bulls pitchers combined to strike out 17 Pipestone batters today. Alex Bretzman went seven innings and fanned 14. He'll have to check with his trainer to see if 108 pitches is too many.

A’s get an infield hit but Bretz gets the Bulls out of the inning with his 14th strikeout. Jackson leads 5-0 after seven.
