@TADaniel57 @Hoopss I never said he didn’t. But you can’t tell me winning a championship against 8 teams should be considered as much of an accomplishment as winning against 30 team. And if you ever listed to any NBA analyst their very first argument against Him was he only played against 8 teams.
English

@BrianHunt796181 @Hoopss Such a weak argument, man. He played against the best of the best, in his era, and he beat them all, like a drum.
English

@nascarguy69420 @CoachAJEpps Then don’t watch! This isn’t an airport, you don’t have to announce your coming and going.
English

@CoachAJEpps I refuse to watch this year! Coach Poope has completely lost my interest and (significant) financial support. Missing Stokes was the final straw!!
English

@m_hock_daddy @orangejuice_865 lol 😂 Kentucky fans know we are struggling. Tennessee fans think they are ruling college basketball and have done nothing in the history of college basketball. NOTHING. And I’m the dumbass. 🤣 you can’t make this up. And you don’t want to respond because I’m giving you facts!
English

@BrianHunt796181 @orangejuice_865 Done more in the tournament than Kenfucky the last decade so what you just said is irrelevant! Due to your 2 followers you’re only getting 2 replies out of me so thanks for coming to my ted talk dumbass
English

@m_hock_daddy @orangejuice_865 You seriously aren’t going to make regular season jokes when you have literally never in your history done a thing in the Tournament. You can hang a banner for beating him one time next to all your Final Four Banners. Oh wait!
English

@BrianHunt796181 @orangejuice_865 Mark “regular season” Pope is now a thing, congratulations you all should definitely extend him as well
English

@m_hock_daddy @orangejuice_865 If I was 1-4 against the coach I was making fun of, I’d just set this one out!
English

@orangejuice_865 Barnes is 1-4 vs Pope. It’s always easy to spot a program with zero success in history. This is all they have to brag about. 🤣🤣
English

@matti99661 Absolutely true! But the stupid part is we’re at our lowest and Louisville, Arkansas, and Tennessee still struggle to beat us. 3-6 in the Pope Area, but they are the ones doing all the talking. Plus Arkansas fans used to laugh at us under Cal. Now they think he’s God.
English

In standards Kentucky absolutely has went though almost a decade of pain.... and now it's just a common theme of kick the horse while it's down.....

Tonight I'm again reminded of so many from a certain fanbase who talked about how awful UofL fans were on Kenny Payne. Just further confirmation that there is no way a huge number in that fan base could have endured a fraction of what UofL fans dealt with for almost a decade.
English

@OuterS_p_a_c_e @orangejuice_865 I mean it’s Tennessee, they have to glory somebody else’s victories, they don’t have anything of their own to brag about.
English

@orangejuice_865 Why is a TN fan slurping Arkansas and Cal so hard?
English

BBN misses this guy like crazy
Easily the best coach they’ve ever had
B/R Hoops@brhoops
Arkansas is bringing in a LOADED recruiting class next season 🔥 Coach Cal is cooking in Fayetteville
English

@orangejuice_865 LOL when I gave you facts last time you posted this stupid statement, you deleted the post!
English

Cal was simply THE Brand
BBN is in absolute shambles and is by far the single most retarded fan base in the country for even thinking they had a chance.

NEWS: 2026 Top-15 overall prospect Miikka Muurinen has committed to Arkansas, his agent Teddy Archer told @Rivals. The 6-10 Finnish forward played professionally for Partizan Belgrade this past season. on3.com/rivals/news/to…

@JamesWi11047973 @ColtsAndBBN McBride hasn’t signed yet and visited like a week ago
English

@iamemmettsmith @wildcatwoody001 Big Z and Jelavic can only dream about being that Athletic. There’s is a difference.
English

@orangejuice_865 @ThisIsChasenn Facts are Calipari has coached at Umass, Memphis, Kentucky, and Arkansas, he has more first round picks at Kentucky than the 3 combined. If he was the a brand what happened at the other schools?
English

@matti99661 @denitruesdaren Trilly just posted that it was fake. Just passing on info.
English

@matti99661 I really need you to promise me it’s not fake and mean it! lol
English

@DylanBallard_UK I mean what else is he going to say. Kerr hasn’t even retired yet. Also the key word there is plan.
English

@matti99661 Surely to god we can out bid UCLA. They have like 12 people at their games.
English

@matti99661 @DrewByousBBN What about the Yessoufou kid from Baylor?
English

@DrewByousBBN If we don't land stokes are some kinda Star this is not even a tournament team

Okay! No more negativity from me today, and hopefully the rest of the offseason because I’m tired of it myself, because it’s very unlike me. Just disappointed with the offseason Kentucky has had thus far.
Let’s leave all of that behind and look at the future.
Guarantee roster right now:
Mason Williams (PG)
Zyon Hawthorne (CG)
Zoom Diallo (PG)
Alex Wilkins (CG)
Kam Williams (SF/PF)
Braydon Hawthorne (SF/PF)
Trent Noah (SF/PF)
Malachi Moreno (C)
Reece Potter (C)
(James Madison) PF Justin McBride is visiting UK.
(USC) C Gabe Dynes is visiting UK.
(Washington State) CG Jerone Morton is visiting UK.
(Florida Atlantic) C Devin Williams has a Zoom call this week, potential visit soon.
Kentucky already has 9 players, not all on the current roster will be rotational playing players. 6 spots still available (roster limit 15).
I think out of 4 or 5 of those 6 players they still need to add need to be starting or legit rotational type players. Maybe 2 more depth pieces. Probably one or two starting spots still open, depending on who they can add, could move Kam Williams to being a six man.
First off, you have to see what Tyran Stokes decides to do. He is a crucial piece of what you can do. Obviously, he immediately is Kentucky’s starting 3 or 4 (depending where Pope wants to play him, I would say likely the 3).
Milan Momcilovic is another name to monitor (no intel) but he is currently projected late first round second round. He is already in the transfer portal, could he pull out to get a big pay day from somebody and play at a big time school. Kentucky can offer both.
One of those two, unlikely, but if you can get one of them, that is your “star” and that is massive!
I think Kentucky probably needs to search for a starting 4. I’m not sure who that is, I’m not sure the options, but need to find one. Could it be Justin McBride? I’m not sure, we’ll see.
I would like a CG to fill a void of a backup guard spot (I can live with Jerone Morton).
Also, doesn’t have to be a high PPG game, but go find a proven knockdown shooter, who can play 10 or so minutes off the bench, but be a real threat out there.
And then a backup versatile big, maybe Devin Williams.
Add maybe someone else to in the fold, or another developmental/depth piece.
Then you have a lot of unique pieces off the bench, you can do some interesting things.
You have to bank on a huge growth from Kam, Malachi, and Braydon. (Probably need that anyways)
Zoom is ultra talented, just need to improve shooting, and play more winning basketball.
Alex Wilkins, just be Alex Wilkins, aggressive on offense and go put the ball in the basket.
You’ve got enough depth/developmental pieces to round out the rest of the roster.
The biggest takeaway from this is pretty simple: right now this is a roster that can give you a solid floor, but it’s not a true ceiling team yet until they land that top-end piece (Stokes / somebody else). Unless you get MASSIVE growth from the returners. That’s what separates being really good from being a Final Four type team.
If they hit on that, everything changes pretty quickly.
But I do believe, with the options out there, and where we stand right now, to be a national title contender, potential SEC champions, Kentucky has got to get one of Tyran or Milan.
Let’s see what happens, hopefully some good news coming our way soon BBN!
