@Meta After 20 years on Facebook, my account was suddenly disabled with no warning and no appeal path. Likely hacked. Holds the arc of my adult life post college, meeting my wife, getting married, having kids. Now Instagram is gone too because it was linked. Sad this is how long‑time users are treated. It got me back in briefly where I saw some unusual activity that made me think I was hacked but then I got shut out again

No independent user reports of successful, legit recoveries stand out. Meta's appeal process is notoriously poor for long-term accounts—common complaint. Avoid DMs or payments.

Humblebrag...I was awarded a certificate by my city today for saving a life through CPR. The truth is that I knew nothing and all credit goes to the 911 operator who explained it over the phone. A true hero. Take a CPR class. Simple chest compressions can make a big difference.
