The muscle bros will hate this, but as you get into your late 40's and 50's, mobility becomes equally as important as adding muscle imo. If all you do is heavy lifts, you're going to end up a pretty strong person who can barely move.

@dirtdog I live in PC, and it’s a sh*t show. Only a fraction of the mtn is open because Vail won’t pay patrollers $2/hr more, yet they’re flying in temps. Tourists pissed, local biz hurting, and the fallout will cost exponentially more than a tiny wage bump. Corporate greed at its finest.

Vail Resorts choosing to get in a labor dispute with the ski patrol over the peak holiday ski days this year is a great example of an epic failure of leadership and operations. If I understand correctly they are $2 apart? Like what??

@KateBour I'm still seeing just as many 20-year-olds sitting in rented Lambos and PJs as I used to. So, no, there hasn't been much change.

Down a quarter mill in the last month seriously thinking about cashing out here and leaving this shit space once and for all. I’ll be the first to admit I no longer have an edge I’m completely lost in this market I’ve been trading like dog shit and making all the wrong moves.

Great brands are equal parts science and art: The science? Things like research, strategy, and logic 🔬 The art? Creativity, design, and emotion 🎨 The brands you’ve never heard of? They’re the ones who thought they could do one part without the other.

Your brand is one of your business’s most valuable assets. But many people couldn’t actually define “brand” if you asked them to. If you’ve ever found yourself wondering “Just what is a brand, anyway?” this blog post is for you. hubs.la/Q02HjlQD0

Your brand's number one threat isn't the competition. It isn't an uncertain economy. Or the rise of AI. Your brand's number one threat: A lack of focus. A focused brand is a relevant brand. And relevant brands are successful brands.

What most employers think company culture is: • Ping pong tables 🏓 • Bean bag chairs 🪑 • Free pizza 🍕 What company culture *actually* is: • Clearly defining your core values 🧭 • Communicating them across your organization 📣 • Using them to drive hiring and firing 👨‍💻
