Alfie May being told to f*** off by quite a few round me when his number came up. Not quite as angry myself but the boy has been a huge disappointment like the #htafc 25/26 campaign
@Tim04220828@Dan_Htafc It’s not all down to him don’t get me wrong it’s very defensive but these players don’t care about our club ledson harness may are senior pros and are a disgrace Wallace is the only player in the last 2 months with any credit
@Danny_htfc Do not put Alfie may and dion Charles in the same bracket mate don’t get me wrong may hasn’t set the world alight but dion Charles is an awful footballer who shouldn’t be anywhere near this squad
Alfie May
34 games | 5 goals (1 pen)
Dion Charles
33 Games | 4 goals
Why does Alfie May not get the same treatment as Dion? At one point he was Left Back today whilst we were attacking.
@GingerOgre We don’t have the players to play 442 that why we stick to the wing backs harness looks awful on the wing and even in the front 3 cos he won’t press fast enough too much money spent on the wrong players for example Mumba I’m afraid miller is a far better player than him
This trend of managers trying to play a complicated system with a League One HTAFC side needs to stop. The players aren't good enough to execute it and its killing us. Started with Grant, and now Manning seems to be the same.
Just play 442. Keep it simple.
Shambles of a derby. No fight, players going missing, awful defending, countless misplaced passes. Desperate to play backwards. No bravery. Poor decision making. Roughan abysmal, as is our away form. Why did we only start playing on 80 mins? Shocking. I’m embarrassed of em #htafc
Decent 1st half. Poor in the 2nd. Goodman made a few very good saves to keep the score down to 2-0 and Alfie May looked lively. Fortunately we won’t be coming up against anyone with Burnleys quality in L1 but would have liked to have seen more from us in attack. #htafc
Alejandro Garnacho has posted a picture of himself wearing an Aston Villa shirt, with 'Rashford 9' on the back 👕

No words I can say will make you or me feel better about this season.
All I can say is this:
You will have my time, my passion, and my money this offseason, as we will work day and night to get this right.
In all my years of being in team ownership, across ALL sports, I have never had one collapse like this midseason.
That is a disease we will be eradicating this offseason, amongst other things.
It starts with leadership and culture.
And if that rubs some wrong within the building, those are the ones that don’t need to be here next year.
And if you think I’m passing blame, I’m not. It starts and ends with ME. And I have to do better, and I WILL do better.
I want to thank you, the supporters, along with our amazing Club Staff for putting up with this season as best you can.
You all deserve far, FAR better.
In the coming weeks, you will see actions befitting these words.
Time to go to work.
@htafc I don’t know what game they watch koroma scored first half and had another chance then kasumu switched off for there goal these players don’t care and managers can say they do but get rid of most of them unfit and don’t deserve to wear out shirt
@fountain1987 Shocking decision a lot of these same players keep getting managers sacked Cartwright is to blame the shocking decision to get rid of Warnock started the demise
Im gutted for Duff. Genuinely. I don’t think he is the problem. I’ve not been vocal on the Cartwright out brigade but the buck stops with him. I’d have liked to have seen how Duff got on without the catastrophic injury list. I’m sad for the bloke ☹️ #htafc
@Jamie__1739 Who else was going to play there roosken was knackered and had to come off otherwise he just gets injured again so turton had to go to left wing back
@KevinNagleMLS We need a replacement balker only just back Nigel out another 6 weeks leaves us Pearson Spencer lees and Pearson has had is niggles this season
In many ways the Helik transaction is a professional move for him and a business decision of Town’s. It is understandable why MH wants to play in the Championship (as that’s where he was last with us) and the opportunity arose for him and we had to respect that. We also knew he was out of contract this year and we very likely could have lost him altogether with no financial return. So the move made sense especially since we have a very solid group of players in the back. This has been discussed internally at length. We will miss MH. He has been a quality person and player across the board and wish him only the best!
